Molly means bitter. Therefore, Molly is out. I can't have a son whose name means "bricklayer" and a daughter whose name means "bitter."
So...(and by the way Troy hasn't even heard these so they may be out before they are in)...what about:
Emma Grace: Emma means universal and Grace means Good Will. Universal Good will...
OR
Ella Grace: Ella means bright light - A bright light of good will...
Or
Isabella Grace: Isabella means pledged to God. We would call her Ella for short.
Or
Gracie Anne
Or
Claire Ella
Or
any other combination of ella, grace, claire, and emma, Anne... By the way, much to my dismay, all of these names are on the most popular list, except for claire, for recent years. That kind of bums me out. I wanted something kind of unique.
I also like Ava. I know. Totally random and out of nowhere.
So give opinions, although, like I said, Troy hasn't even heard these AND I am probably having a boy because all I can think of is girl names.
If we have a boy, I still have no clue. None. What are we going to do?
wife, mother, believer, teacher, photographer, writer, daughter, friend, runner, dreamer, reader, planner, procrastinator, music lover, sugar addict, owl cartoonist, bug hater, to do list maker, random thought sharer...and this is where it all goes.

The results
So, I went to my appointment and as I was stepping off the scale, the nurse said, "I have seen worse." Gee, thanks. That makes me feel so much better. While I won't disclose my total weight, I will tell you that in the 16 weeks, and 5 days that I have been pregnant, I have managed to gain a total of 8 pounds. Not terrible, I know, but not fantastic either. See, that means I have gained 6 pounds in 4 weeks. Ummm, not so great, guys. Anyway, here is the good news. I got out my scrapbook last night and compared to a picture of me pregnant with Mason at 18 weeks, I look like I am on about the same track. So, maybe I am just one of those pregnant people that just can't help but show right away. I am sure the dozens of trips to Sonic have absolutely nothing to do with it.
On a much more exciting note, we get to find out the sex of the baby on May 25th! I cannot wait. I really cannot. I am dying to decorate and start buying clothes and so much more. We are having the most difficult time coming up with names. I haven't thought of one boy name I like and the only girl names I like are Molly, Claire, and Madelyn. But none are perfect. We will just have to keep thinking...

A Little Thump
I have started feeling the baby move. I have been for about a week, but wasn't completely sure until recently. They are just little flutters but I can even feel the little flutters from the outside now. It's amazing. This little movement is my favorite part of pregnancy. It makes it so real. Anyway, just wanted to share.
Totally random, but I just got the most unbelievably powerful craving for Sonic's Cheddar Peppers. Holy Cow. If I thought I could get to Sonic and back in time, I would so be outa here despite the looming appt I have with the scale at 3:50. Unfortunately, I will have to wait until I leave for my appt. Man!

It's raining maternity clothes!!!
Okay, so you know how I was saying the other day that I was experiencing quite a clothing shortage but couldn't really afford to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe for five months and that maybe it would just start raining maternity clothes or something. Well, the rain came on Friday!!!!
My friend Jenni who works with me loaned me a TUB of maternity clothes. Within this tub, were like ten pairs of pants and tons of shirts. Almost all fit me perfectly or are a little big which is perfect since I am just getting bigger. The best thing is that she had khaki's and black pants too so maybe I won't have to wear jeans every day until October. I am so thankful that she generousluy lent these items to me and can't wait to start wearing them. The best thing about all the clothes is that they are cool, totally my style. Thanks, Jenni for loaning these to me!!! It means so much to have clothes again!!!

Any Guesses?
Tomorrow is my next Doctor's appointment. I will be 16 weeks. Any guesses on what the unkind readout from the scale might be? I am not looking forward to it, ladies and gentleman. It's pretty bad when you are walking down the hall at the end of possibly the longest day of your life to go to what you know will be the longest ARD in your life and a teacher you don't see that often looks at you, makes a face of "Holy Crap" shock, andsays to the teacher next to her, "Gaw, she has gotten big." Of course this wasn't supposed to be heard by me but it was. I really wanted to say, "Yeah the tummy is big but I can still fit into my size 6 capris and even button them. At least I have an excuse for my growing girth. What's yours?" Of course, I didn't and instead just smiled and said in a giggly, I-know-my-tummy-is-so-big! voice, "Don't say that! Hee, hee, hee..." Go to He.... I know. I am sorry guys. That is a horrible attitude. It doesnt' help that one of my 7th grade boys shouted out in the middle of 6th period, "YOU'RE PREGNANT! I thought you were just packing on the pounds!" Anyway, I know the scale will be unkind to me tomorrow but whatever. I am pregnant, entering my 5th month. Give me a break. Of course, this post is not target at my readers. You all have been gracious and quiet. This is just me venting. I will let you know what the scale says....

Summer School, Sleep and Scrapbooking
So, I am, if I get hired, going to teach summer school. But here's the thing I am hoping to get hired for elementary summer school which means I would be teaching little ones instead of big 7th graders. I am kind of excited and kind of scared. But here is the thing. It is only from 7:30-12:00 every day for twenty days. Surely, I can survive twenty days. Then, if all goes as planned, Troy will have a training job, and I will get to stay at home next year. This thought thrills me beyond all imagination! Glorious!
Sleep. I just literally took a twenty minute nap on my classroom floor. It's like from 12:15- 4 I am dead tired and then I perk right back up, and can't get to sleep at night. At least this is an improvement from the tired all the time I was experiencing just a few short weeks ago.
So, when it is not the hours between noon and 4, I have newfound energy and I have decided to exert some of this on scrapbooking. I have been a pretty faithful scrapbooker since high school, but have strayed recently. Well, yesterday, after spending money I should not have spent on a scrapbooking sale at hobby lobby, I think the scrapbooking kick is about to set in! I am so excited. My goal is to get completely caught up before the baby arrives. I am only about a year behind so hopefully I can do this. I am even more excited about this new spark of creative endeavoring(i am sure that being an English teacher I am aloud to make up new words) because my fellow endeavorer(again, playing the English teacher card) is my friend Kylah who also purchased some fun goodies last night. We are going to start scrapbooking together some nights and on our own. Soooo fun! Of course this means our families may be neglected occasionally, but, hey, at least they will have a beautful scrapbook of our lives when the neglecting is done!:)

Pregnancy update
Mason asks, " Is the baby likin' that?" every time I am eating. It is so nice to be able to say yes. And it is so cute every time he asks it!
I have made my first purchase of maternity clothes! Jean shorts and four tee shirts from Old Navy. Yeau! So very comfy and cute. I am, however, running into quite a clothing shortage. I can still cram my poochy tummy into most of my low rise pants but to do that I have to wear long slightly loose shirts because otherwise it is just not attractive. Unfortunately I have not very many of either of those items - low rise pants or long shirts. Oh, well. Maybe it will start raining maternity clothes or...something. : )
Last appointment, it was determined that I had only gained 2 pounds total. A miracle. This appointment, the 30th, I have a fear that the total will have gone up considerably. But, here is the good news. I believe the only weight I am gaining is in my boobs(yay!) and tummy, because, as mentioned above, I can still wear my pants. They are not tight around my booty or thighs. That has to be a good sign....or maybe not...Maybe, forming inside of me is like the world's largest baby...great...maybe this is not a good thing. Man. Posting sometimes brings on unpleasant realizations...
