Mason has always loved butterflies. I remember vividly my first year of teaching, when he was two and a half, I would almost cringe when we pulled up into the driveway because he would inevitably beg/cry/plead/scream to catch butterflies when all I wanted to do was go crash on the couch after my long day. He always won. Well, the butterflies have come and today we caught a few. No nets needed for this guy. Just tippy toes and gentle fingers.
The "prey"

Slow and steady. Find your mark. Creep in.

Gentle. Gentle....

For the record, I love all your photos you have posted and wish I could take pictures that good. Challenge yourself, but don't beat yourself up. It's like being an artist. Sometimes you will be able to afford the really good pastels and sometimes you will have to create with the just okay ones. But you HAVE to create because it's what's inside you that has to come out.
Lots of love,
